Jon Stewart rips Rick Santelli (and the rest of the "analysts" on CNBC) a new one. Check out this video, which is a nice little follow-up to the Rick Santelli video from the other day...

When will CNBC stop carrying the water for the business genius-crooks? Probably not any time soon, so enjoy (not really!) the video in the meantime...

Love it!! ... too funny!! God Bless Jon Stewart for pointing out all of CNBC's horrible calls. I hope the other TMM members enjoy this as much as I did. Thanks for sharing!

Hello TraderMel,

Jon Stewart rocks, doesn't he!? And, as far as the CNBC crowd goes, I find it quite eye-opening that a number of their so-called analysts (and guests, mind you) have over the past few days been providing "targets" for the major indices that are well below current market levels; a perfect example is Jim Cramer's little segment with Erin whatshername on Friday, when he said his target for the Dow was 5320 (currently at ~6625).

When that crowd is calling for a further 20-25% drop (after having been wrong ever since the top was put in place in Oct '07), it makes me want to be extremely careful shorting (leave aside the fact that the charts are oversold on almost every level of trend).

Cheers,
Asher
